What this actually is

Soft-top boards, waist-deep water, one coach for two people. Batu Bolong is the right wave to learn on: long, slow, and forgiving when you fall.

Lessons run at whatever tide is working that day, so the start time moves — we confirm the exact slot the evening before on WhatsApp.

By the end of two and a half hours most people are standing up on their own at least once. If you are not, the coach stays in the water until you are.

Pickup & cancellation

No pickup — Batu Bolong is a 5-minute walk from most Canggu stays. If you are in Seminyak we can send a driver (about USD 12 each way).

Free up to 12 hours before. Flat sea or storm, we reschedule at no cost; that is about one day in ten in the wet season.
