What this actually is
A traditional jukung leaves Padangbai harbour at 8am, before the dive boats. Two snorkel stops: Blue Lagoon for the coral garden, Tanjung Jepun for the turtles.
Gear is fitted on the beach and the crew carries a spare of everything — a fin that does not fit is the number one reason people have a bad morning in the water.
The current at Tanjung Jepun can run. The guide tows a float line; hold it if you are not a strong swimmer, and you will still see everything.
