We re-check every operator licence and insurance policy once a year. If a licence lapses, the trip comes off this site the same week.
What this actually is
A reef 40 m off the beach, a line, and one instructor for every four people. You learn the breathe-up, the duck dive and how to equalise before you ever go deeper than 12 m.
Most people hold 30 seconds on day one. If the sea is flat we run two sessions; if it is rough we move to the Japanese wreck site, which stays calm in almost any weather.
No certification needed. You do need to swim 50 m and be comfortable with your face in the water — if not, say so and we will run the pool session first.

Pickup & cancellation
No pickup for this one — Amed is a 2.5-hour drive from the south. We send a driver quote (about USD 45 each way from Seminyak) if you want it arranged.
Free up to 24 hours before the session. Inside 24 hours we charge 30% to cover the instructor block. Rough sea is never your problem — we reschedule free.
