Amed 4-Day Freedive Course
Amed dive centre, 1:4 ratio, house reef 40 m from the shop, two boats.
We re-check every operator licence and insurance policy once a year. If a licence lapses, the trip comes off this site the same week.
What this actually is
Level 1 and Level 2 in one run: four days, three nights, and a certification at the end if you hit the standards. Depth goes from 12 m on day one to 30 m by day four.
You stay in a guesthouse five minutes from the shop, breakfast included. Day three is the Tulamben wreck — a 120 m Liberty ship on black sand, which is the dive most people come to Bali for.
The standards are the standards: if you cannot clear your ears or hold the static, you get more days at the pool rate instead of a certificate.

What travellers said
Four days and I went from panicking at 5 m to 26 m at the wreck. The pool work on day one is why.
Small group, serious instruction, no upselling. The guesthouse is basic but the breakfast is genuinely good.
